City Traffic Police book 159 cases against shrill horns

Mangaluru: Cracking down on the traffic violators, the Mangaluru City Police have booked 159 cases against shrill horns during the “Traffic Management and Road Safety” month.

To mark the “Traffic Management and Road Safety” month, the Mangaluru West Traffic Police have organised traffic awareness programmes at Gokarnatha College and Badriya College. The Mangaluru South Traffic Police have organised a traffic awareness programme at Capitanio School in the city.

City Traffic police have booked 40 cases for parking the vehicles on “No Parking Zones”, stated Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime and Traffic) Uma Prashanth, in a media release
