Mangaluru: Only a year after coming into existence, The Cleaners Homemaid are making waves in Mangaluru city. Recently, as requested by Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, they cleaned a police station in the city’s limits and the results are mind-blowing.
When they were asked to clean the Pandeshwar Women’s Police Station on June 19, the company sent a team of six cleaning crew accompanied by a supervisor and the Managing Director Rabeez Yusuf to get the job done.
The team performed a one-time deep cleaning of the station absolutely free of cost. The task took the team a good seven hours to complete.
Impressed with the job, the Inspectors in-charge issued the team an acknowledgement letter signed by the ACP to thank them for a job well done.
Excited about the opportunity, Rabeez took to Facebook saying “our cleaning revolution has begun”. He also thanked MLA Vedavyas Kamath for providing the company with the opportunity to serve those who serve and protect us.
Speaking about his experience, Rabeez told Newskarnataka.com, “It was a special moment to be complemented and thanked by the very people who serve and protect us. I can say that I have done my bit as a citizen. If each of us, as citizens contribute to the police force in small ways, maybe if a fruit vendor distributes fruits or a baker distributes some baked goods, things like that, we can make them feel appreciated.”
Asked how they came to do this task, Rabeez said that he had met MLA Vedavyas Kamath during a public gathering and had spoken to him about The Cleaners Homemaid and their services. “When I offered to give MLA Vedavyas a free demonstration at his residence, he responded by saying that it would make him happier if we cleaned a city police station instead.”
It can be recalled that The Cleaners Homemaid had recently won an award for ‘Best Cleaning Company in Karnataka’ award at the India Business Awards 2019.
