Mangaluru: A five-day-long certificate course in digital photography techniques, dedicated to the children with special needs, organised at Anirvedha, a resource centre for psychological well being, Mangaluru, concluded on Saturday, May 4.
The programme was organised by Anirveda in association with ‘Inwincive Creatives’, a media enterprise that works on content and design. The chief guest at the valedictory programme M Narasimhadas Pai, Chief Financial Officer, Semnox Finance and Compliance lauded the efforts of ‘Anirveda’, saying that the certificate course in digital photography organised for the special children, was the first of its kind in Mangaluru.
” It is a good initiative by ‘Anirveda’ and it should be encouraged by all. If proper support is given to the special children, they will definitely be able to reach the mainstream of the society”, Narasimhadas Pai added.
Dr. Krishna Mohan, a surgeon as well as an ardent and exceptional photographer was the resource person in the photography course. He helped the special children by providing training on the professional camera, lighting aspects, indoor and outdoor activities among others.
After the programmme, certificates were given to the participants. The parents were very emotional on seeing their children receive certificates from the guests.
Founder of Anirveda, Shwetha K T welcomed the gathering. Child counsellor Arjun compered the programme. Staff of Anirveda Naura, Benzita among others were present.
