Case filed against three for violating quarantine; Three COVID patients discharged

Mangaluru: A case has been filed against three persons for allegedly violated the quarantine guidelines.

The three, who were instructed to undergo home quarantine by the district administration, allegedly violated the guidelines by roaming outside.

A case has been registered against the three at the Mangaluru South police station in this regard.

Three more COVID-19 patients discharged

Three more persons were discharged from the Wenlock Hospital after recovering from Covid-19 on Wednesday, May 27.

A 26-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman from Karkala and a 38-year-old woman from the Someshwar village are the three who were discharged today.

With this, 29 out of 81 Covid cases in the Dakshina Kannada district have been discharged after recovery.

Among the 48 active cases, a 76-year-old person and a 68-year-old woman are in the ICU and the rest are stable, sources from the district administration informed.
