Mangaluru: In connection to the shootout at car street, on Friday, Dec 8, Mangaluru City police have detained two suspects.
It is gathered that underworld fugitive Ravi Poojry’s aide Kali Yogisha has claimed responsibility for the shootout out on Sanjeeva Shetty garments guard Mahalinga Naik(50).
Reportedly, Yogisha placed a call to private channels as also an evening daily newspaper claiming responsiblilty for the shootout, just a day after the incident.
While the police have not yet confirmed the role of Yogisha in the incident, they have detained Ganesh, brother of Kali Yogisha’s brother and another friend of Yogisha for interrogation purposes.
It is said that the shooters missed their target and fired at Naik.
