Mangaluru: C S Bhandary was elected as the President of Mangala Badminton Association for the year 2018-19 at the annual meeting of the association held at Kudla Pavillion Hall on May 13, said a press release.
The new office bearers of the association are Shivaprasad Prabhu (Vice President), K. Shivanand Shenoy (Vice President), Deepak Kumar (General Secretary) and Lakshmi Suvarna (Treasurer).
Mangala Badminton Association affilated to the Dakshina Kannada Badminton Association has more than 190 members. It organises coaching as well as competitions for the development of budding sportpersons.
