Mangaluru: Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) president Ravishankar Mijar took on the Congress over senior leader Digvijaya Singh’s statement that his party will reconsider the decision on Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir if it is elected to power at the Centre.
Addressing media here in the BJP office on Tuesday June 15 he said, “Singh made the alleged comments in response to a question asked by a Pakistani journalist during a discussion. Digvijaya Singh told Pakistani journalist that if Congress comes to power they will reconsider the decision of abrogating Article 370.”
He accused that instead of giving responsible statements opposition party “spewing venom against India outside”.
He said BJP condemns such irresponsible and anti-democratic statements made by the opposition. He demanded clarification from Congress over this issue.
