BJP celebrates in Mangalore in anticipation of its 2-state win

Mangaluru: As the Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) seems to be set to take power in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, the Dakshina Kannada party wing celebrated by distributing sweets and bursting crackers near its office here on December 18.

On this occasion, speaking to the media, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, “The BJP, after 22 years in power in Gujarat, is once again set to retain it. Even in Himachal Pradesh, the people have given a clean mandate to the BJP. The people of both the states have accepted Narendra Modi’s decision when it comes to demonetisation and GST.”

He also said that even in Karnataka the BJP would come to power with a majority. Siddaramaiah who said that Modi is afraid of him, will now be scared of Modi after seeing the results in the two states, he added.

BJP District President Sanjeeva Matandoor, former MLC Monappa Bhandary, Zilla Panchayath President Meenakshi Shanthigodu and others were present.

Udupi District BJP celebrates Gujarat victory

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Udupi district unit, celebrated the victory in Gujarat’s and Himachal Pradesh’s assembly elections December 18.

The party workers celebrated their party’s victory in front of the BJP office at Kadiyali by shouting BJP slogans and bursting fire crackers.

Lalaji Mendon former MLA, Yashpal Suvarna, Shreesha Nayak, Geethanjali Suvarna, Kulaidy Suresh Nayak, Katpady Shankar Poojary, Nayana Ganesh, Suprasad Shetty Baikady, Rashmitha Balakrishna, Roshan Shetty and other leaders were present.
