Mangaluru: The Tulu film industry, fondly known as Coastalwood has been producing 3 to 5 cinemas annually. In the last couple of years however, with increased interest by fans spanning all ages the number of films released per year has gone up. Not only has the quality of films improved, but also the steady inflow of movie buffs.
One such film that recently set a new benchmark is ‘Chaali Polilu’. Directed by Mr. Virendra Shetty and produced by Mr. Prakash Pandeshwar, the movie has completed 200 successful days in the box office.
To celebrate the BIG Success, the team at 92.7 BIG FM Mangalore along with the movie cast and crew had a victory cake cutting ceremony at the 92.7 BIG FM Mangalore premises located at Bharath Mall.
The fans also got a chance to interact with the producer and director who went live on air with RJ Roopesh as a part of the regular Big Coffee programme between 8am-11am.
