Bantwal: Kala Sangama Summer Camp Begins at Bala Vikasa English Medium School, Mani

Bantwal, Apr 3: The students can pursue other professional courses than just engineering and medicine, because summer camps facilitate the students to find their interest, said journalist Gopalkrishna Kuntini.

 

 

Gopalakrishna Kuntini was speaking after inaugurating Kalasangama summer camp that began at Bala Vikasa English Medium School, Mani, near here on Monday April 1.

‘The students had to be active, while the teachers play key role in instilling confidence and enthusiasm,’ said Gopalakrishna.  ‘The punishment to discipline students in a few schools is unjustified,’ said Gopalkrishna.  He urged the teachers to explore new teaching methods that has positive effect on personality development of students, urged Gopalakrishna.

Bala Vikasa English Medium School correspondent Prahlad Shetty said that its for the first time that a summer camp has been organized at the school and urged the students to actively partake in the camp.

The resource persons Muralidar (arts), Kaintaje Shankari Bhat and Lalita Bhat (handicraft), Shankaranarayan Bhat (limerick), V B Kulavarma (public speaking), Mounesh Vishwakarma (theater), Satyaprasad Kote (chess) and others were present at the dais.

Bala Vikasa English Medium School administrator Sridar delivered the introductory address.  The head teacher Vijayalaxmi V Shetty welcomed the gathering.  The primary school head teacher Grace P Saldanha proposed vote of thanks.  The teacher Harinakshi compered the programme.
