A new team of office-bearers of Milagres Toastmasters for the year 2021-22 led by president TM Azma Sheikh was installed on Sunday, July 11 at an online ceremony themed ‘Success through Synergy’.
Dr. Pradeep Senapathi graced the event as chief guest for the day. In his speech to the gathering, he addressed the theme ‘Success through Synergy’ saying that Smartness, clarity in goal, curiosity, and lifelong learning are the key to success.
TM Jayamala Manai served as sergeant at arms for the event. TM Anjali Aravind initiated the program with a beautiful prayer. The outgoing president, TM Anupama Shetty delivered the last speech of her presidential term. She thanked her executive team, her mentors, and her club members for supporting her through her tenure.
The club mentor, DTM Dr. C K Ballal, presented the prestigious Outstanding Toastmaster Award to TM Azma Sheikh. TM Balakrishna Prabhu presented a very elaborate secretary’s report highlighting the events, achievements, and updates of the club during the term 2020-2021.
TM Leona Aranha enthusiastically introduced the team of office-bearers.
TM Akhila Shetty introduced the area director, TM Anupama Shetty. The officers were installed by the area director. In her address, she spoke about the importance of having dedication, self-belief, and wished everyone a great success.
The division director was introduced by TM Sushma Shetty. Division F Director, TM Beena Shetty congratulated the outgoing executive team for the successful year and wished the best for the incoming executive team.
TM Christopher Sequeira graciously handled the felicitations where representatives of different clubs of division F and leaders of district 121 showered the club with well wishes and support. TM Amita Shetty concluded the program with a heartwarming delivery of the vote of thanks.

The program was attended by district director DTM Vanitha Rangarajan, DTM Malini Hebbar, DTM Bharathi Shevgoor, DTM Narayana M, DTM Arjun Sundar Raj, DTM Anitha Cordeiro, DTM Samina Nayak, DTM Gokul P Menon, district PR manager DTM Rohan Ravindra, division F director, DTM Beena Shetty, area director TM Anupama Shetty, past division leaders, area directors, officers, and toastmasters of clubs across Mangaluru, and several DTMs.
Milagres Toastmasters was chartered on October 18, 2012, and since then the club has been providing a supportive and encouraging environment to help its members grow as communicators and leaders.
