Mangaluru: The COVID – 19 patients, who are APL and BPL cardholders and undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units (ICU) or on a ventilator in private hospitals will be benefited of the Ayushman Bharat scheme as per revised rules.
In the district, in all 80 hospitals are providing free treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme only if they are treated in ICU or need a ventilator. The scheme does not applicable to other patients.
The information on the Ayushman Bharat scheme can be obtained from the Arogya Mitra in private hospitals.
