Mangaluru: Another cruise vessel ‘Costa Victoria’ arrived at the New Mangaluru Port Trust (NMPT) on Tuesday, November 26.
This is the fifth cruise to arrive at Mangaluru’s shores this season. When the cruise vessel with over 1900 passengers, including the crew, arrived at the NMPT, the Port authorities welcomed them to the city in a traditional way, with the help of the Kannada and Culture Department. The local artistes performed Yakshagana, tiger dance and other art forms of the coastal city to entertain the passengers.
After alighting from the vessel, some passengers opted to visit some of the popular tourist places in the city. The vessel came from Dubai via Mumbai and is likely to proceed towards Kochi tonight.
