Mangaluru: A J Hospital & Research Centre is organizing an endocrinology camp at the hospital OPD (Ground Floor) for the benefit of people who are suffering from various endocrine problems. The camp will be held on January 9, 10 and 11 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
People with the following problems will greatly benefit from this camp- diabetes, change in voice, obesity, infertility, early/delayed puberty, calcium related problems, tremors /increased sweating, neck/thyroid swelling, weight gain/loss, menstrual disorders, increased/decreased menstrual flow, facial/body hair growth in girls and weakening of bones (osteoporosis).
Children with down syndrome, low blood sugar, failure to gain weight, bone deformities, and growth issues (short/tall stature) will benefit from the camp.
Registration and first consultation at the camp are free. There is a 25% discount for outpatient investigations and a 10% discount for IP on the total bill.
Dr. Kishan Delampady, Consultant Endocrinologist and Dr. Supreetha Shetty, Pediatric Endocrinologist will be available for consultation during the camp.
