Mangaluru: AICC President Rahul Gandhi arrived at the Mangalore International Airport on Tuesday, March 20 for a two-day tour of the Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Hassan and Chikkamangaluru districts.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, KPCC President Dr. Parameshwara Congress leaders DK Shivkumar, Mallikarjuna Kharge, Ramanath Rai, Mayor Bhaskar K Moily, Ivan D’souza, MLA JR Lobo, DCC President Harish Kumar, Former Mayor Kavitha Sanil and others welcomed the AICC chief at the airport. He then left in a chopper to Padubidri to inaugurate the Rajiv Gandhi Political Institute (Sevadal Training Centre) and address the Sevadal workers in the afternoon.
He will be addressing the Janaashirvad Rally at the Nehru Maidan here at 6 pm.
