Kasargod: A 25-year-old youth activist of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was brutally hacked to death in Heravu in Kannur district on January 19.
According to reports, Shamprasad was riding a bike when a few miscreants in a car, attacked him with lethal weapons in Kolayad.
Though the locals immediately rushed him to the hospital, Shamprasad succumbed to his wounds without responding to treatment.
Meanwhile, the BJP has called for a bundh from morning till evening today, in condemnation of the murder
