50th Kevin Misquith Live Concert on 28th July at Town Hall, Mangaluru

kevin sing 001Mangaluru: Aangann Konknnechem Riyadh (AKR) organizing a Live Concert ‘50th Kevin Misquith Nite’ on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at 5.30 pm at Town Hall, Mangaluru, in association with the Charitable Trust ‘We Care N Share’ and presented by MILESTONE.

Aangann Konknnechem Riyadh (AKR) is a non-profitable organization involved in promoting Konkani culture and language through various programs in Riyadh, Dammam and Mangalore. They have also conducted several programs to help the youth to promote their talents such as international programs like Gulf Voice of Mangalore and Baila Dance Contest, since its inception in 2007. Besides, they are involved with several charitable activities too.

We Care N Share a trust had its birth in Dubai on March 2008. The main objective of this trust is to help the poor and the needy. They brought educated youth to the UAE in order to help them settle down with a job and to be able to help their family.
We Care N Share Trust registered officially on August 2015, Arun Palimar is the Managing Trustee of the trust. Trust is involved in giving scholarship to the needy students and medical help to the needy patients.

Kevin Misquith is rightly called as the pioneer of new-age Konkani music. He has redefined Konkani music over the past decade since his very first show in Mangaluru. With his innovative concepts, creative presentations and robust on-stage performances, he has been successful in not only attracting the younger generation of today, towards Konkani music but also taking along contemporary music lovers.

He is probably going to be the youngest and fastest to reach the mark of 50 concerts milestone. His Konkani music compositions like Kenna Kenna, Abolem, Thembe Thembe, Ek Glass Beer etc have been super hit songs of Konkani in recent years liked by Konkani music lovers. Kevin has performed in Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and in Saudi Arabia.

The proceeds of the concert will be donated to the ‘We Care N Share Trust’ to help the students in need and for the medical expenses of the poor patients.

A renowned Konkani Poet Wilson Kateel will be compering the part of this concert.

Arun Palimar, President, Aangann Konknnechem, Riyadh; Kevin Misquith, Konkani Music Composer and Artist; Naveen Melwyn D’Souza, Trustee, We Care N Share Trust, Sheldon Crasta, Renowned Master of Ceremonies; Titus Noronha, Head, Publicity Committee were present during the press release at Mangaluru Press Club to announce this news.
