Mandya: A 20-year-old allegedly chopped off his father’s head on November 24, after which he surrendered himself to the Kikkeri police, his father’s head in hand.
The alleged killer has been identified as Dayananda. The victim has been identified as Manju Nayaka (48).
Reportedly, Manju, while under the influence of alcohol, picked a fight with his son on Saturday morning. Tired of putting up with this, Dayananda tied his father’s hands and legs and decapitated him. Following this, he wrapped the severed head in a towel and took it to the police station.
