Vendor selling ‘Revanna lemons’ in weekly sante goes viral

Mandya: H D Revanna, PWD minister and son of former prime minister H D Devegowda, is regularly trolled for his superstitious beliefs. Recently, he was found carrying out a campaign for his son Prajwal Revanna with a dozen lemons, making the scene go viral. Now, a roadside vendor in Mandya has gone viral for selling lemons with the brand name “Revanna lemons”.

According to sources, the video of the lemon vendor was captured on April 5 in the Srirangapatna weekly market (sante). The vendor was selling lemons saying that these are “Revanna lemons” and is good for all kinds of pujas. A few of those who saw him selling the “Revana lemons”, took a video of the scene and it soon took social media by storm.

In the video, the vendor can be heard saying “come, come, five lemons for Rs 10. Revanna lemon for Rs.10…”
