Mandya: “I am always ready for an open debate with independent candidate Sumalatha, said Nikhil Kumaraswamy, Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition candidate from Mandya here on Tuesday, April 9.
Speaking to the media persons during an election rally at Antharahalli in the district, he said, “I am fed up of listening to the baseless allegations made by Sumalatha Ambareesh. She is spending all her time only accusing the JD(S). However, our agenda is development and I am ready for an open debate with her, whenever she wants,” said Nikhil.
“They are systematically trying to defame us. People are enjoying ‘Nikhil Ellidiyappa’ (Nikhil where are you) meme. But it has not hurt me and I am not going to sit idle at home. The people of Mandya are with me,” added Nikhil.
He said that the people of Mandya would give a befitting reply for everything on April 18.
