Mandya: ‘Rebel Star’ Ambareesh was not a believer of timings like ‘Rahukalam’. But, in his death, the state government seems to be following the timings perfectly.
As per the original schedule, the Ambareesh’s mortal remains were supposed to be moved from Mandya to Bengaluru at 8 AM. But, minister H D Revanna, who arrived in Mandya to pay his last respects to the deceased leader, ensured that the body will be flown out of the city only after 9.15 AM. The reason being ‘Rahukalam’.
According to astrologers, on Monday, ‘Rahukalam’ is between 7.49 AM and 9.15 AM. Evidently, Revanna doesn’t want the airlifting and ‘Rahukalam’ timings to clash. So, it is said that he directed the authorities to ensure that the body will be taken to Bengaluru in a special copter only after 9.15 AM.
