Mandya: MP Sumalatha Ambareesh has been tested positive for Corona Virus, on Monday, July 6.
The first-time MP has revealed the same and said that she has quarantined herself and is under medication.
In a twitter post, the actor-turned-politician said that on July 4, she developed symptoms like headache and throat pain.
“Since I have been actively working in my constituency and had also visited COVID spots, I got myself tested for Corona Virus. It is positive with very mild symptoms and I have been advised home treatment,” she tweeted adding that she is under the medication and her immunity level is strong.
She further said that she has already given the details of the persons she came in touch with to the government officials.
