JDS internal exit poll survey predicts Nikhil’s defeat, CM HDK in distress-1

Mandya: Even though the campaigns have come to a halt in the much expected and high voltage political battlefield of Mandya Lok Sabha constituency, where independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh and Congress and Janata Dal (S) coalition candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy are fighting each other, the exit poll survey conducted by the intelligence department and JDS internal team here on Saturday, April 27, has made Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy unhappy.

According to the exit poll survey by intelligence source, except Halaguru, Nikhil is expected to lose in Malavalli, Maddur and Mandya. Sumalatha is expected to win in every hobli of Maddur town as it is the hometown of actor/politician Late Ambareesh.

The same results are expected according to the JDS internal survey as well.

Enraged by this, CM HDK has slammed Malavalli MLA Dr. K Annadani, Transport Minister and MLA from Mandya D C Thammanna, saying that both had failed to win the confidence of the people.

On the other hand, the exit poll survey also predicts Nikhil losing with a margin of over two lakh votes.

Meanwhile, Minister for Minor Irrigation C S Puttaraju has opined that regardless of the survey, Nikhil would win with a great margin.

“I have already revealed my stand saying I would retire from politics if Nikhil loses. I’m confident of his victory”, he said.
