Mandya: If sources in the JDS party are to be believed, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and his son, Sandalwood actor Nikhil Kumaraswamy, who is contesting from the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency, didn’t sleep on Sunday night. Instead, they held a strategy meeting with their party leaders all night long.
According to the sources, both HDK and Nikhil stayed in a private hotel near KRS on Sunday night. For the entire night, they held talks with senior party leaders from all the eight Assembly constituencies falling under the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency.
“They slept only on Monday morning after the sun rose. They discussed about the prevailing situation in each village of the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency. They are happy with the way the campaign is being carried out,” said a JDS leader from the Mandya district unit.
