Mandya: In a midnight political exercise, PWD minister H D Revanna rushed to K R Pet town in the Mandya district and visited the residences of senior Congress leaders, seeking their support for JDS-Congress alliance candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy.
Revanna visited the houses of senior Congress leaders including former MP K Rahman Khan, former MLA K B Chandrasekar, B Prakash, and others. He requested them to support Nikhil and assured them that all the pending issues of the coalition will be resolved after the elections. All the leaders then assured him of their support for Nikhil.
“At K Rahman Khan’s residence, Revanna held the feet of his brother Yunus Khan. This shows how much the JDS leaders are worried about the competition,” said a leader present at the time.
“H D Revanna arrived after completing a campaign for his son Prajwal in Hassan. He was working tirelessly,” he added.
