Mandya: The state government appointed C Shikha as the new director of the Department of Pre University Education.
She has been transferred to the post on Tuesday late night. She informed that she will take charge as the director on Wednesday.
It can be recalled that PC Jaffer, PU director was appointed as the DC of Mandya district on Tuesday evening in the place of N Manjushree.
N Manjushree was transferred out of the Mandya district following complaints of making biased decisions favouring Nikhi Kumaraswamy, son of CM HD Kumaraswamy and MLA Anitha Kumaraswamy.
In Mandya Lok Sabha constituency Nikhil Kumaraswamy is locking horns with actress Sumalatha Ambareesh, wife of Rebel Star and former minister MH Ambareesh.
