Madikeri: Central Minister D V Sadananda Gowda has given an open invitation to senior Congress leader S M Krishna to join the BJP.
Addressing reporters in Madikeri after attending MLA KG Bopaiah’s daughter’s wedding in the city on Sunday, he said that a sincere and a cultured politician like SM Krishna will be welcomed into the BJP house if he is willing join.
“If Krishna joins the BJP, his experience and knowledge will only future fortify the party,” he said and lamented that a person like Krishna, who was never hungry for power and position was sidelined and hurt by the Congress party.
Gowda said that the central government will stand by ‘Kambala’ and make all possible efforts to save the sport.
