Madikeri: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy advised the officials to understand the local problems minutely and work honestly to overcome them.
He was speaking on July 20, at the meeting called for reviewing the damages caused in the district due to heavy monsoon rainfall at the DC’s Office here.
“Each region has its own set of challenges. The officials should understand these problems minutely and align the schemes of the government to overcome them,” Kumaraswamy told the officials present.
HDK also instructed the officials to submit a detailed report on the relief and rehabilitation works required to rebuild the area destroyed by the heavy rainfall. “An estimated property worth Rs 326 Crore has been damaged in the monsoons so far. Funds for relief works will be released soon,” he added.
