Somwarpet: Three youth involved in illicit activity at a lodge with a married woman have been arrested by the town police here on November 1.
C C Jeevan from Yadavare village, Medura Kiran from Kambibane Hosatota and R Ashwin from Hostota are the arrested.
On a credible information that the trio were staying at a lodge near government bus stand, town police raided it at around 4.15 am and arrested them. The woman has been rescued during the raid.
The raid was carried out under the supervision of DySP Sampath Kumar by Circle Inspector Nanjunde Gowda, SHO M Shivanna, staff Jagadish, Mahendra, Vasanth, Kumar, Apsana and Dhanalaxmi.
The accused have been produced before the court and sent to judicial custody.
The woman has been sent to a counselling centre. A case has been registered against the lodge owner.
