Madikeri: A youth who met with an accident at Madikeri Talathmane and was admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru succumbed to injuries on Thursday.
Hailing from Valachil near Farangipet of Mangaluru Taluk, V H Ashwan (18), son of VH Abdul Lathif had met with an accident on February 24 near Talathmane.
He was on a tour with four other friends in a car to Madikeri when the car collided against a tipper killing one Shafiq on the spot.
Another teenager named Shameer had later died in a hospital in Mangaluru.
With Ashwan’s death the toll has raised to three.
Two other named Irfan and Shameer are said to be out of danger and are recuperating in a hospital in Mangaluru.
