Madikeri: Former minister M C Nanaiah had an unexpected guest at his farm house in Hakathur on Saturday, November 2. The visitor was a cobra.
A russell’s viper was also spotted in Mekeri resident, Radha’s compound.
Both the reptiles were caught by snake expert and Gram Panchayat member Piyush Pereira and released in the Sampaje forest area.
Till date Piyush has caught 110 snakes including 72 cobras and 38 other snakes.
He has requested the people not to harm the creatures and has given his contact details in case anybody finds one of these misunderstood reptiles.
