Madikeri: In second such incident in last one month, three-person were electrocuted when the aluminium ladder they were holding came in contact with the electric lines, at Doddapulikotu village under Napoklu police limits.
The deceased are identified as Tammaiah, Anil and Kavita. The incident happened when tree pruning works were taken up.
Another woman by name Sunita (32) sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Madikeri.
The incident happened in the plantation of one local coffee grower named K Suresh.
Senior police officers rushed to the spot from Madikeri. CESCom authorities are also on the incident spot and investigating the case.
It can be recalled that on April 3 labourers were electrocuted while plucking the coffee beans in Arvakathokulu village near Gonigoppa.
