Registration campaign for CM Mathrushree Scheme and PM Matru Vandana Yojana

Madikeri: The registration campaign for ‘CM Mathrushree Scheme’ and ‘Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana’ will be held for the people of Kodagu at the district’s general hospitals in three taluks and also at all the Primary Health Centres.

Under the ‘CM Mathrushree Scheme’, pregnant women (seven months pregnant) who are BPL (below poverty line) card holders will be given Rs 6,000. The amount will be credited directly to their bank account which is linked to their Aadhaar Card. This facility can be availed for two deliveries.

Under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana’ is for both APL (Above Poverty Line) and BPL card holding pregnant women and mothers under postnatal care, Rs 5,000 will be credited directly to the bank account linked to the Aadhaar Card, in three installments to the beneficiaries.

Documents required for registration

* Aadhaar Card copy of the beneficiary and husband
* Mother and Childcare Card
* Bank account details of the beneficiary
* Copy of BPL/APL card

Details of Primary Health Centres and dates

Virajpet taluk hospital on May 29, Somwarpet taluk hospital on May 30 and Madikeri District Hospital on May 31, between 10 AM and 4 PM.

Madikeri taluk: Primary Health Centres at Dasawala Beedi on June 3, Gandhinagara on June 4, Indiranagara on June 6, Bhagamandala on June 7, Sampaje on June 10, Cheyyandane on June 11 and Bengooru on June 12.

Somwarpet taluk: Primary Health Centres at Kodlipet on June 13, Shanivarasante on June 14, Alur Siddapur on June 15, Madapur on June 17, Shantahalli on June 18, Garvale on June 19, Surlabi on June 20, Suntikoppa on June 21, Chettalli on June 22, Nanjarayapatna on June 24, Koodige on June 25, Shirangala on June 26 and Hebbale on June 27.

Virajpet taluk: Primary Health Centres at Kakotuparambu on June 28, Thithimathi on June 29, Balele on July 1, Polibetta on July 2, Hudikeri on July 3, Kutta on July 4, Kaanur on July 5, Kuttandhi on July 6, Maldare on July 8 and Ammathi on July 9.

The registration will be held between 10 AM and 4 PM.

Department of Women and Child Development Deputy Director Arundhathi has urged pregnant women and mothers under postnatal care to register and avail the benefits from the scheme.
