Madikeri: MLA K G Bopaiah flagged off development projects worth Rs 11 crores in Mekeri Gram Panchayat jurisdiction on Monday.
The funds were sanctioned from various departments-Panchayat Raj Engineering Department Rs 1.88 crores, Public Works Department, (PWD) Rs 4 crores, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Rs 5 crores.
Bopaiah also initiated ‘Bhoomi Puja’ for the upcoming projects and inaugurated completed projects of 2018-19.
Zilla Panchayat President B A Harish, Gram Panchayat President Jayanti, Vice-President Bhimmaiah and others were present.
