Madikeri: A few miscreants vandalised the government hospital at Suntikoppa and threatened the duty staff demanding to call the doctor, on May 20.
A group of around 15 people barged into the hospital demanding treatment for a patient. When the hospital staff were giving first aid to the patient the group demanded to call the doctor immediately. Enraged that the doctor was not called as per their demands the group went on a rampage, breaking the belongings in the hospital.
The police have registered a case against 15 people including local residents Usman, Sharif and Fasil Usman son of K A Usman for preventing government servants from discharging their duties.
Circle Inspector of Suntikoppa police station Jayaram inspected the hospital and launched an operation to nab the culprits.
