Madikeri: Annies Kanmani Joy, Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu District and Dr. Suman D Pennekar, Superintendent of Police, visited the district’s Somwarpet Taluk on Thursday, March 14, to inspect the voting booths.
The DC and the SP visited voting booths of Suntikoppa, Kodagarahalli, 7th Hoskote, Garaganduru, Madapura, Igooru and several other places to ensure that the basic facilities such as drinking water supply, electricity, toilets etc., are intact.
Officials including Tahsildar and sector officers were present during the inspection.
