Madikeri: The election code of conduct is strictly enforced in Kodagu district after the announcement of the dates Lok Sabha elections.
As many as 14 cases have been registered by the Excise Department until March 12, for illegally transporting alcohol in various parts of the district.
The Excise Department has so far seized 86.45 litres of alcohol worth Rs 35,978. A Tata Indigo used for the illegal activity has also been seized.
