Madikeri: In a surprising move, Mysuru Deputy Commissioner Shikha turned up at Kaveri Kshethra in Kodagu on Sunday to offer special prayers.
DC Shikha is in news after she filed a case against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s close associate and former Zilla Panchayat president Marigowda after the latter hurled abuses at her publicly with regard to relieving of a Tahshildar post his transfer.
Following this incident, though the CM tried to convince Shikha to withdraw the case, it yielded no result.
With all the pressure, Shikha came to ‘Triveni Sangam’ along with her husband Ajay Nagabhushan and offered prayers at Bhagamandala. She offered ‘kumkumarchane’ at Talacauvery. She was also accompanied by renowned astrologer Bhanuprakash Sharma.
