Bhatkal : A woman hailing from Yalahanka in Bangalore lost her life while her husband sustained serious injuries when a speed boat which went out of control hit them while they were playing in the water at Murdeshwar beach on May 2, Friday.
The deceased is Chandrakala Sudarshan (32). She along with her husband Ramayya were on a visit to Murdeshwar on Friday when the incident took place.
Though both of them had sustained critical injuries, Chandrakala who had suffered injuries died on way to the Manipal Hospital after a local hospital advised that she be shifted.
It is said the condition of Ramayya too is critical. Murdeshwar police have registered a case.
