The #Shobhagoback tweet has reached more than 1500 twitter accounts within two hours of it being first tweeted. Sources said that the party workers feel that last term Shobha Karandlaje won due to Modi wave. This year the constituency needs a local BJP candidate.
They complain that Shobha Karandlaje has not come near the constituency after she was elected MP. The local people did not have a Member of Parliament for the past 5 years to solve their problems. Highway work is incomplete.
According to sources, the local BJP workers are ready to support any local candidate from the party. They believe that only the local candidate will understand the problems faced by the people in the constituency. The local candidate will be the voice of the local people and will be available when the people need help.
BJP president Amit Shah’s visit to Bangalore on Thursday to discuss Loksabha candidates was also being tweeted in conjunction with this tweet. It will be interesting to see what decision the leadership takes in these circumstances.
