Kundapur : Two men have been arrested by the Kundapur police on January 3, Friday night on the charges of peddling charas. One more accused is absconding. The arrests were made near MD Developers in Tallur. A bike belonging to the two and charas valued at Rs 5000 have been seized.0
It is learnt, the absconding man identified as Pradeep Devadiga of Hattiangady is the prime accused in the case. Those arrested are Raghavendra Shetty and Raghavendra from Hosangadi.
The police could manage to arrest the two following information passed on by locals. Circle inspector P M Diwaker and sub inspector Jayarama D Gowda were part of the operation. Interrogations of the two revealed that the absconding Pradeep used to supply charas from room No. 105 at MD Developers Building.
Investigations are underway.
