Koppal: In a bizarre incident, a man who pressed the seal between two election symbols left the election officer in a fix.
Finally, the officer user a ruler and measured the proximity of the seal to the election symbols and put an end to the confusion!
The incident took place in Gavisiddeshwara High School campus in Koppal where the poll counting was underway.
A voter had pressed the seal in the middle of the two election symbols on the ballot paper.
The seal was between the ‘TV’ and ‘Auto rickshaw’- symbols of two candidates from Gondabala GP.
However, to put an end to the confusion, the election officer pulled out a ruler and measured the proximity of the seal to the symbols and declared that the vote will go into the account of Galeppa Poojara, whose election symbol is a television.
