Police constable exam papers leaked, kingpin and 115 others held

Madikeri: The candidates who were standing on their toe to enter police constable services all over the state, are now disheartened as the qualifying examination question papers were leaked out, here on Saturday, November 24.

The exams which were due for tomorrow i.e., November 25, are now postponed till further orders.

The ones who were accused of leaking the papers and their ‘kingpin’ are now arrested by the Central Crime Branch police.

The name of the ‘kingpin’ is Shivkumar from Tumkur.

Among the arrested are four girls and 115 candidates who are said to be fake.

Around 2113 candidates including male and female were about to write the exams.

On Saturday morning, 115 candidates had arrived in four buses at a school near Kodlipet.

Kingpin Shivkumar is said to have leaked the question papers for an amount.

On definite information, CCB police officer Venugopal and Circle Inspector of Hassan Narayan conducted a raid in which the police were successful in arresting the culprits.
