Srimangala : The Oorchal Mandh programme recommenced with grandeur at Kunjilageri as part of the Mand-Maanil Kodavada Koyime programme of United Kodava Organisation. The event which remained suspended since the past several years, had a grand re-entry this time with participants rekindling the past glory through a glorious cultural and folk display.
Various events including the traditional Naade Hakuva programme, Bolakat dance were performed while Ummattat of Mudanda Chira group enthralled the gathering. Even the traditional Puttari Kolat and Talipat of Charmanda Poovayya team was well appreciated.
Several locals including Appunu Poovaiah, Chottera Kiran Kunhappa, Monnayya,Shankeri, Kameyanda Ganesh, Chottera Erappa, Kootanda Ramesh, Harish, Ayyappa, Chitra Bhojappa, Chottera Shashikiran, Kaverappa, Ramya Poovaiah, Neelam Kuttappa, Archana Appaiah, Swathi Chengappa, Pratibha Ponnappa, Sowmya Muttappa and others were present.
