Karwar: Andhra Pradesh police arrested two staff of the Indian Navy working at the Karwar naval base, for allegedly sharing information related to the navy base with unknown persons through a honey-trap gang.
The navy or the Andhra police have not issues any statement in this regard. But both the arrested were sent to judicial custody by an NIA court in Vijayawada.
These two youths, who were active in the social media, were allegedly trapped by Pakistan-based agents through women and were trying to collect details.
Investigating agencies declined to share more details citing national security concerns.
