Karwar: In a tragic accident, a teenager lost his life in an accidental firing, at Sirsi in Uttara Kannada district.
The deceased is Karthik Hegade (17) from Guruvalli-Keregadde in Sirsi taluk. It is said that the teenager was loading the rifle when he accidentally pulled the trigger. The bullet shot Karthik on his head, landing him in a pool of blood, dead on the spot with a mutilated head.
It is said that he was all alone at home when the accident took place. Sirsi police have registered a case.
