Honnavar: Father of Paresh Mestha has submitted a petition in the district court seeking appointment of attorneys of his choice to fight the case, fearing denial of justice.
” I have no faith in the investigation, despite the state government handing over the case to Central Bureau of investigation (CBI)”, said Kamalakar Mestha. “Efforts are on to destroy the evidence even after the arrest of the accused in the killing of my son”, he said accusing the state government.
“In such a scenario, the accused are likely to get bail easily. To prevent that, I have submitted a petition in the district court seeking appointment of attorneys of my my choice to fight the case in future”, he added.
