Karwar: The Bharatiya Janata Party Media Co-convener Venkataramana Hegde has taken a jibe at the Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition candidate Anand Asnotikar, stating that after Asnotikar loses the Lok Sabha election, there will not be any party left for him to join.

Addressing a press conference which was held at the District Press Hall, on Monday, April 1, Hegde said, “Anand got into politics at a very young age and has already joined and left almost all the political parties. There will not be any party left out for him to join if he loses the upcoming Lok Sabha election. Therefore, as a transport entrepreneur, I will bring a load of parties from North India at my own expense. This will help him join a new party.”

BJP Media Co-convener for Uttara Kannada Lok Sabha constituency, Nagraj Nayaka said, “When Anand Asnotikar was a legislator, Legislative Assembly Speaker Bopaiah had dismissed him for eight months. During this period, the people of Karwar-Ankola constituency faced a lot of problems. As a legislator Anand Asnotikar is the only one who created trouble for the people of a constituency.
