Karwar: Neither Prime Minister Modi nor UP Chief Minister Yogi will be able to stop the Congress juggernaut, said a confident R V Deshpande, Minister for Heavy Industries and Commerce on May 1.
Interacting with the media, Deshpande said the Modi-led BJP government belied on the faith reposed by the people and its future is bleak.
Both Modi and Yogi are visiting the state as elections are nearing but their efforts to win voters will be futile. Modi-led NDA government is against the farmers and labourers and the people of the state will re-elect Congress, said Deshpande.
Opposition BJP is mixing religion with development and in the states of Gujarat, Goa and Maharashtra, it has failed to achieve the development goals on account of religion based politics, Deshpande said.
Note ban caused enormous inconvenience due to which we are unable to draw our hard-earned money, minister rued.
Income tax raids are being carried out on political opponents with ulterior motives, Deshpande said.
