Karwar: A police escort vehicle from revenue minister R V Deshpande’s cavalcade, rolled down the hill severely injuring two police personnel in the Kadrada Anashi hills of the Uttara Kannada district.
The minister was travelling from Haliyala via the Joyida Anashi route to Karwar to attend a KPD meeting. The vehicle rolled off the road after the driver lost control of the vehicle while in the Anashi hills.
The driver Rajesh and co-passenger, Prakash are the injured. They were admitted to the district hospital for treatment.
A case was registered in the Kadra police station.
